Youth With A Mission Pakistan is a Christian Welfare Society founded and run by national people. Our aim is to express the universal love of God in creative practical ways to the benefit of all. I registered the society in 2005, after years of visiting my nation from overseas. I have been living in Europe, especially the UK, for well over two decades. During that time, I have been involved in international community work of many different types, including relief and development, leadership training, management, small business start-ups. I also act as a consultant to executive leaders of international ngo's working in Europe, Africa and Asia. I speak Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, English and some Spanish. My personal inspiration has come from my years in YWAM England, which has been awarded United Nations Observer Status. I am grateful for the opportunity and support they gave to me as I struggled to find my own particular style and identity in the context of our international franchise, a network of different christian initiatives, united by common values. I am also grateful, from the depth of my heart, to Almighty God, who gave me a deep love for the unique language and treasures of the my culture. In London, I not only read Urdu dailys, but I built up a personal Urdu library and founded an Asian Arts centre to promote our culture into the diversity of this great city of London. Those of us in the diaspora have much to offer our nation. I feel very deeply that the future depends upon raising up a generation to become skilled leaders, able to pioneer diverse, creative enterprises founded upon godly and moral principles in every area of life. I was delighted that when I returned to my homeland, I was able to find like minded people. We have been working together ever since. Read what we have been doing.
